Härryda Energi chooses Endre for smarter management of its expanding power grid

Härryda Municipality is growing, bringing an increased need for electricity and new connections to the electricity grid. For Härryda Energi, this means handling more connection requests of varying sizes and complexity. To meet this future demand responsibly, investments in the grid need to be prioritized where they will have the greatest impact.
When several new loads are planned for, it is not only the size of each individual connection that matters. Equally important is understanding when the power demand arises, how different loads interact, and what impact they have on the grid together.
To improve the accuracy of their grid planning, Härryda Energi has chosen Endre. The platform enables hourly analysis of electricity demand and load profiles – from individual connection points and municipal detailed development plans to their combined impact on the company’s own grid and the upstream grid.
“With Endre, we will be able to work more strategically and cost-effectively, and thereby use the grid in a much smarter way,” says Alexander Ehrensvärd, Grid Manager at Härryda Energi.
Already in the initial analyses, Härryda Energi and Endre have looked more closely at several larger connections and how their power demand coincides over time.
“A lot is happening in Härryda, which makes it especially important to understand the combined effect of new connections. In our first analyses, we were able to identify important coincidence effects between several larger connections. This provides a better basis for assessing how the grid needs to be developed going forward,” says Amrish Kubavat, Customer and Partner Manager at Endre.
