Kungälv Energi choses Endre for data-driven grid planning

Kungälv Energi is responsible for electricity distribution in the municipality of Kungälv, excluding Marstrand, as well as in Jörlanda in the municipality of Stenungsund and Torskog in the municipality of Lilla Edet.

The region is currently experiencing a phase of rapid expansion, with significant growth in both housing and commercial activities. At the same time, more customers are electrifying their daily lives, leading to new and evolving demand for electricity capacity. This rapid development also creates uncertainty around what future capacity needs will look like.

To address these challenges, it is crucial to understand how loads interact across different sectors. This enables a more efficient expansion of the grid, both in terms of meeting customer needs and from a cost perspective.

Kungälv Energi has therefore selected Endre as its partner for grid planning. Through Endre’s digital tools and technology, the company gains improved capabilities to analyze future demand, make well-informed investment decisions, and increase grid utilization.
